**About the Company**

Gain valuable real life experience & insights working for a leading NSW Government Organisation as a Media Reporting Officer. This position is a 9 month contract based in Sydney with WFH conditions

**About the Role**
- Contribute to, and provide content development for, a range of written materials, including media releases for projects and milestones to support the achievement of business requirements.
- Coordinate media and communications reporting across a number of projects simultaneously, ensuring activities are documented and delivered in a timely manner.
- Coordinate project tracking to ensure senior managers/ministerial executive services are regularly updated and aware of approaching communications and content deadlines in adherence with project plans.
- Develop, monitor and update media and communications record keeping processes to ensure consistency and alignment across the Communications directorate and with department standards.
- Conduct media monitoring for the Communications directorate, reviewing the department’s daily media clippings and broader online websites to identify and distribute articles and content relevant.
- Contribute to the development and adherence of processes that ensure reports, images and media collateral for external use are aligned with approved brand requirements.

**About You**
- Preferably experience with Journalism
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in Media
- Highly organised and able to execute
