**Switchboard Operator/Computer Clerk**

- Casual Position located across RMH City and Royal Park campuses

The Telephone & Communications Department is a dedicated team of multi skilled staff, who provide a wide range of services over a 24-hour, 7 day a week period. Currently we are seeking dedicated Switchboard Operators to join our team at RMH City & Royal Park Campuses

**About the Role**:

- Operating an extremely busy hospital switchboard
- Actioning emergency calls as specified
- transmitting messages via paging system and updating information.
- This is a multidisciplinary role, which includes weekend shifts providing receptionist support on our information desk and mailroom duties when required

**About you**:

- Medical Terminology knowledge
- Call Centre / Switchboard experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Problem solving skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Ability to work in both a team environment and autonomously
- Proficient PC skills, including Word & Excel
- Effective organizational and time management skills
