- **Multiple positions**, **25- 38 hours per week**:

- **Able to work shifts offered between 9.30 AM & 6:00 PM**

**Overview**

We at NEC are looking for a Switchboard operator, who enjoys working on a high-volume switchboard, servicing customers in a professional and timely manner. In this role you will be r esponsible for all internal and external calls, for both the Victorian Government switchboard and the NEC internal switchboard.

**Professional Experience Required**:

- Demonstrated experience operating a busy switchboard with high and consistent call volumes
- Able to handle most calls in a measured timeframe
- Intermediate Computer literate level, including (databases & internet)
- Excellent telephone manner, communication skills and customer service
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative in problem solving and in exercising judgement.
- Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously and cooperatively with other people and to work independently at all times without supervision.
