About the role

We are looking for a Credit Officer to join the growing team on a permanent, full-time basis.

As a Credit Officer, you will support the credit team by maintaining credit accounts within a designated client portfolio while identifying any financial risks and minimising exposure to bad debts in accordance with Elders policies

**Responsibilities**:
As a Credit Officer, responsibilities include:

- Becoming a trusted partner across a portfolio of branches
- Implement credit control for branch network and associated class accounts
- Preparing submissions, coordinate approvals assessing credit worthiness
- Monitor and action daily reporting
- Undertaking credit searches and establishing new accounts
- Associated account maintenance and processing
- Work with branch to manage and collect overdue accounts

About you

To succeed in this role, you:

- Be a team player with the ability to engage and build trust with stakeholders is a must
- Be comfortable making difficult decisions quickly and independently
- Professional with high work ethic and personal integrity
- Capacity to remain task focussed and prioritise under pressure
- Advanced proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite
