About the role

We are looking for a Credit Officer to join the Elders team on, full-time, 12-month fixed term contract.

As a Credit Officer, you will support the credit team through maintaining credit accounts within a designated client portfolio while identifying any financial risks and minimising exposure to bad debts in accordance with Elders policies.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Credit Officer, responsibilities include and are not limited to:

- Credit control for branch network and associated class accounts
- Preparing submissions and coordinate approvals
- Monitor and action daily reporting
- Undertaking credit searches
- Establishing new accounts
- Associated account maintenance and processing

About you

To succeed at Elders, you:

- Demonstrated understanding of debt recovery process
- Initiative to make timely decisions
- Professional with high work ethic and personal integrity
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Capacity to remain task focussed and prioritise under pressure
- Advanced proficiency using the Microsoft Officer Suite
- Previous experience in a credit collection role (desirable)
