About the Role
The Project Officer, Capability provides authoritative and expert advice including documenting operational lessons learnt processes for relief & recovery during and after an emergency. You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of various recovery preparedness and capability projects and priorities to ensure that ERV and the recovery sector can effectively and efficiently support community-led recovery after an emergency.
We are looking for a strong planner and problem solver, with experience in project management within a complex operating environment. You will have a strong focus on continuous improvement, the ability to balance priorities, undertake effective and timely actions, and develop and maintain strong working relationships across the organisation and State government departments.

At interview stage and prior to commencement of employment with the department, you will need to provide evidence that you are vaccinated against COVID-19 with three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Upon commencement of employment with the department you will be required to provide evidence that you have an up-to-date vaccination status within the timelines specified by the department into the DJCS Service Portal. This includes evidence of three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine required by the department (from time to time).
