About the role

Reporting to the Team Leader, Business Services, the Business Services Officer is responsible for the day-to-day provision of office administration, equipment, and business services to the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) in line with the established policies and procedures.
The role is responsible for administrative tasks relating to a broad range of business services including local travel, finance, procurement, asset management and office consumables. If you enjoy the variety of switching between administrative and customer support tasks, then keep reading
This position is a 3-year fixed term VPSG3 role with access to our hybrid working arrangements.
About you
We're busy here in the Business Services team and our priorities change daily, so you need to be comfortable working in a communicative and dynamic environment. We would love to hear from people who have the following skills and experience:
- Experience with the Microsoft suite and previously worked with spreadsheets and reconciling data
- You have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- You are confident in working independently and efficiently, whilst assisting a broad range of internal and external stakeholders within a busy environment
- You enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment, with experience providing administrative and some onsite business services in a corporate or government office setting
- You will have a strong sense of purpose in helping the project deliver on transforming the way Victorians live, work and travel
