The ACT Commercial team, has been expanded over the past 12 months. They have secured long term contracts with customers such as the Canberra Centre and Bunnings. From this, the team is looking at employing an energetic and dedication sales guru to join the team.

As Area Sales Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving sustainable growth across the ACT. Reporting to the Regional Manager - ACT, you’ll be tasked with sourcing new business, managing existing customer relationships and resigning current customers across a diverse commercial and industrial sectors.

This is an autonomous, on-the-road role — ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives in a dynamic environment.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Building and managing a sales pipeline across your assigned territory
- Developing tailored waste management solutions for new and existing clients (a one stop shop for all customers)
- Cultivating strong, long-term customer relationships
- Leveraging CRM systems to manage leads, track progress, and report results
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Identifying new market opportunities to maximise portfolio growth

- Proven success in B2B sales, ideally in waste, logistics, or a related industry
- A hunter mentality — you’re driven, strategic, and know how to close deals
- Strong communication and consultative selling skills
- Confidence using CRM systems and tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- A natural ability to connect with diverse stakeholders and industries
