An opportunity has arisen in the Canberra/ACT Riverina/Yass Region for a Consultant Contractor (Area Manager) to service an existing group of customers in both Government and private sectors in Workplace Health and Safety. Workplace Health and Safety and First Aid is an important factor for any business to uphold for their employees safety.

Global Kulture/Compliance Pty Ltd is a family run business owning existing territories in this field in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Tweed / Central Coast of NSW / ACT Riverina and Northern Territory.

The position entails cyclical auditing/servicing and replenishment of First Aid Kits and Defibrillators (85%/15%) as well as safety signage, spill kits and any associated products within the customers workplace. Administrative management of your customer base and records is a key part of this role also, with you pertaining good skills in computer/iPad systems to ensure our database is maintained and customer invoicing processes are promptly completed.

Prior experience in Sales isn't a must, although applicants with high level Customer Service and Sales experience will be viewed as advantageous. Customer relationships and rapport are an important and crucial part of this role.

The existing customer base is around 50/50 ACT/NSW Riverina (Goulburn to Wagga/Tumut/Yass). Room for growth within this region is enormous with a 50% increase in customers being quite achievable. This will entail cold calling which is crucial in building further business within a territory, so confidence to do so is necessary, but success in growth of your customer-base and therefore income, will follow with the correct application and dedication to the position.

As a contractor, under your own Pty Ltd Company ABN, you will pay your own tax after full business deductions are taken up. As part of your business and this role, you will be required to have both Public Liability and Work Cover insurance policies, as is standard practice with any contractor positions/business.

Your earnings are only as limited as your success in growth. The role requires dedicated work hours of around 7 to 8 hours a day, 5 days a week and having the commitment to ensure customers within the territory are being provided the best service on their cyclical basis is always our goal. There will be the requirement of travel/away from home hours, with these differing on the planned visits to further regions within the territory.

We as the company, carry the costs of all debtors and stock on your behalf and arrange stock deliveries and special orders as needed for your customer-base. Your contract also has the flexbility for leasing a company vehicle, should your own vehicle not suffice holding enough stock for your servicing needs.

Full training and support for this role will be carried out by our company personnel for both 'in-field' and administration requirements of the position.
