**The Role**

Offered as 9-month parental coverage role reporting into and working with the Assistant Account, you will assist to ensure daily/weekly/monthly deadlines are met accurately and in a timely manner. The role includes but not limited to data entry, assisting with monthly analysis as required, journals in TMs, Tropics and Oracle, providing support for AR/AP when required.

Specific responsibilities include:

- Prepare general ledger for month end, process journals and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with coding of Amex/cash expenses (Including Aircard), reconciling Cash in Advance (CIA) for TMS/Tropics Including system journals & analysis as required and with reconciling Bank - Including system journals & analysis as required.
- Prepare Daily Cashflow report.
- Escalate and report system related issues and errors to supervisor.
- Process commission refunds, hotel concierge, TMS crew commissions, Voyages commissions & referral commissions.
- Preparing bank data in a timely manner for Assistant Account on a daily/weekly and monthly basis.
- Work closely with the Assistant Account & AR with any queries relating to bank reconciliation.
- Assist with Accounts Payable data entry functions where required in time of high volume.
- Assist with admin duties as required such as printing monthly Recs for sign off and ensuring they are complete and balanced to the Trial Balance, assist auditors with documentations requirement and AR queries relating to bank rec items.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following:

- Accounting education preferred - Diploma/Degree level or currently studying Accounting.
- Computer literate with Intermediate experience in MS Excel and Word preferred.
- Experience in Oracle, Tropics and TMS would be highly regarded
- Intermediate to Advanced skills across the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Oracle, tropics and TMS desirable
- Very strong attention to detail and ability to systematically carry out tasks
