When you work at General Pants, you’re not just an employee, you’re a defining part of our brand.

In this role you will work closely with the Senior Accounts Payable Officer and be responsible for processing the General Pants accounts. You will ensure all liabilities to suppliers are recorded in an accurate and timely manner and suppliers are paid in accordance with trading terms and cash flow requirements.

**The role you will play.**
- Enter all stock invoices in an accurate and timely manner
- Match stock invoices to purchase orders and investigate and resolve all stock discrepancies
- Reconciling vendor statements
- Managing AP inbox. Being the Point of contact for operational enquires from internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure payment files are accurately prepared for approval by the AP manager
- Assisting with month end closing
- Maintaining a systematic filing system

**About you**
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive and motivated
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, good planning, time management and organisational skills
- Sound excel skills
- SAP experience is essential
- Experience in Lightyear also desirable
- Demonstrate experience in a high-volume accounts payable role
- Retail Experience or a working knowledge of retail businesses is desirable
