About UsEstablished in 1982, Alzheimer's WA provides care, support, awareness and information to assist people living with dementia, as well as their families and carers. Our services include advocacy, education, partnerships, training, consultancy and holistic person-centred care programs, based on a philosophy of understanding the lived experiences of those living with dementia. We provide CHSP, HCP and NDIS packages and day/overnight respite in our four homes based in Perth, Mandurah and Albany.

About The Role

As Care Operations Manager, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality aged care services, ensuring operational excellence, financial sustainability, and compliance. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive innovation and growth in dementia care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual operational plans aligned with Alzheimer's WA's mission and goals.
  • Collaborate across departments to deliver person-centred, high-quality dementia care.
  • Oversee key initiatives, monitor KPIs, and ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery.
  • Maintain accurate reporting through the My Aged Care Portal and meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and the broader community.
  • Manage budgets, monitor cash flow, and support funding growth through grants and tenders.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership and contribute to board-level reporting.

About You

  • Post Graduate Qualification in Health Care/Business (or similar) with at least 3 years relevant industry experience with experience at an Executive level.
  • RN/clinical experience in aged care and prior leadership of clinical or care teams.
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Sound financial acumen and budget management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • A passion for improving the lives of people living with dementia.
