**Role Overview**:
Our Market Access team monitors population demographics and develops solutions to give patients access to our medicines. We act as both educators and advocates for our products, processes, and practices that help us revolutionize how our drugs create value in society. Our Department gains and maintains timely access for our medicines, building the company's reputation & advocacy and gaining insight into the needs of top customers.

The Department delivers industry-leading performance in:

- Achieving rapid PBS listings
- Maintaining a high and favorable profile in the media, with stakeholders, and with employees
- Building trust and respect with key customers
- Supporting HTA policy reform

**What will you do**:

- You will ensure optimal and timely reimbursement of medicines. Coordinate industry-leading HTA submissions, including PBAC, co-dependent, and hospital formulary submissions. You will collaborate with the broader MAP & cross-functional teams to develop reimbursement strategies for new and established products and indications.
- You will partner with the broader market access team to ensure submission strategy is aligned to the company's policy positions, to develop stakeholder plans to support PBS access, and to ensure the smooth post-PBAC listing process
- You will prepare clinical and economic evidence to support reimbursement or pricing submissions, including the development of access or outcomes research studies to address identified needs
- You will lead discussions with head office on the clinical development program and provide quality advice on all health economic and pricing matters to cross-functional product teams
- You will develop and manage relationships within local affiliates, regional teams, and global personnel, externally with government officials, Medicines Australia representatives, Oncology Industry Taskforce, clinical experts, and across the industry.
- You will proactively monitor external environment, customers, and competitors, to identify risks and opportunities

**What should you have**:

- You are a graduate in life sciences or health economics or in the life sciences (a postgraduate degree would be an advantage) with at least three years of experience relevant to market access or health outcomes, with hands-on experience in PBAC submission types.
- You are trained or experienced in epidemiology, economic modeling or statistics
- You are results-focused, self-motivated ,and have strong interpersonal effectiveness, particularly in working productively under pressure with stakeholders
- You are excellent in negotiation, strategy development, and implementation with expertise in multi-tasking, excellent commercial acumen, and communication.
- You have excellent technical capabilities in assessing clinical data health economics, including submissions and outcomes research, and are literate in using economic modeling approaches.
- You can embrace a mindset of networking, empowering, experimenting, sharing & learning while maintaining a focus on purpose, high integrity & ethics, patient focus, diversity & inclusiveness.
