**The Role**

You are responsible for the Continuous Improvement and up keep of all factories and to ensure that the facilities are safe, well-functioning and maintained to highest standard at all times.

You will be liaising with contractors and suppliers in regards to repairs and maintenance issues as well as providing recommendations to the executive committee.

Availability in times of emergencies and outside of normal work hour’s attendance could be required to get tasks completed as to ensure mínimal disruption to our operations.

This is however balanced by an agreed work from home offering.

This responsibility and oversight extends to our manufacturing facilities in

all other locations throughout Australia and you will be in close communication with all local Managers to ensure contracts and agreements in all locations are being fulfilled.

**Key Responsibilities**

To ensure the ongoing serviceability and safety of all facilities and any associated infrastructure, your core responsibilities will be:

- Development of agreements and sound contract administration, procurement and overall management across all locations.
- Enforce and administer compliance within all service contracts.
- Forecasting and annual budget management of all maintenance costs and contracts.
- Coordination of inspections as required and the subsequent distribution of clear and concise technical reports and advice.
- Identify & resolve building related issues including but not limited to:

- Function, Appearance and Safety.
- Fire, electrical, plumbing, gardening.
- Cleanliness & Security.
- Contractor Management, access and engagement.
- Operational capital expenditure as required.
- Regularly liaise with key stakeholders as well as tenants of the property, keeping them informed of events taking place and dealing promptly with any issues.
- Ensure that risk management and safety processes are incorporated into all facility maintenance procedures.
- The integration of a Best Practice approach throughout all facilities.
- Regular audits of all facilities to ensure the highest standards are being maintained.

**Your Profile**

You will have ideally 3+ years in Facilities Management or Safety Management experience.

An understanding of relevant Australian legislation, Building codes of Australia and Safe work practices and legislative requirements.

You will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, be well presented and have the ability to communicate across a diverse hierarchy.

A team player, you will also have the ability to work autonomously and be able to demonstrate strong organisational, problems solving and time management skills, as well as being thorough in project management.

Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products.

You will be reliable and have the ability to make the occasional interstate trip as needed.
