We have an opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join the Stockland team in Brisbane. This role would suit either an experienced Facilities Manager, or a Facilities Coordinator / Junior Facilities Manager looking to take the next step in their career.
**The Opportunity - About the Role**
In this role, you will plan and coordinate the facilities management of the Industrial Asset Portfolio whilst containing expenditure within budget. Ensure proper and efficient operation of the asset's physical aspects, creating and sustaining a safe and functional environment for the occupants.
Your tasks will include but not be limited to:
- Take ownership and implement R&M operational and capital expenditure budgets.
- Manage and lead the process for capital works planning including tenancy delivery and small projects
- Responsible for accurate and timely performance reporting.
- Manage and lead any processes and procedures related to the delivery of a safe, compliant, well maintained and sustainable asset.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all the key portfolio stakeholder groups with customer centric focus as it relates to tenants.
- Ensure asset always remains fully compliant and manage remedial actions within the determined timeframes.
- Create and manage opportunities and drive improvement programs to optimise the portfolio’s waste and energy, and water usage.
- Take responsibility in ensuring full compliance with relevant Operational Risk procedures. For example:
- Project/property risk assessments
- Incident reporting
- Identify and follow through with WH&S improvements (system improvements, elimination of hazards and environmental risks). Create a reporting structure which enables a process for closing out issues or documenting improvement opportunities
**About You**
- Prior Facilities Management/Coordination experience
- Proven experience in customer service and managing effective relationships with commercial tenants
- Experience in implementing and managing budgets
- Extensive experience in maintenance planning principles and methodology
- Demonstrated experience in planning and managing capital expenditure projects
- Strong client service focus, with an ability to build and maintain effective relationships
- Sound knowledge of WH&S and legislative compliance and practices
