Permanent Role - Purchasing Assistant - Supportive Team - Training Offered
Purchasing Assistant required for successful engineering company based in Wangara.

Purchasing Duties:

- Ordering of Parts to complete job including materials for manufacturing
- Verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from Suppliers for substitute items
- Obtaining lead times and scheduling deliveries from suppliers
- Raising Purchase Orders through the system and send to suppliers
- Verifying receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolve shipments in error with suppliers
- Entering supplier invoices into the system against the Order(s)
- Providing all supplier paperwork and invoices to accounts for scheduled supplier payments
- Maintaining all information accurately in the system
- Keeping information accessible by sorting and filing documents.

Logistics Duties:

- Assist with packing, dispatching and shipments
- Assist with stock; parts; materials etc coming in and making sure all shipments and documentation is completed correctly
- Assist with arranging courier services
- Assist with following up on deliveries and tracking.

You will be working in a great team who will provide support and training. This is a permanent role paying around $60,000 + super.
