**Housekeeping Supervisor (Part Time) | Mercure Gold Coast Resort**
A 292-room hotel, spanning over 3.5 hectares with significant food & beverage operations, two resort pools and extensive conference facilities, Mercure Gold Coast Resort is an oasis located amongst expansive gardens on the Gold Coast.
Reporting directly to the Executive Housekeeper, we have an exciting opportunity for a **Housekeeping Supervisor** to join our fast paced and dynamic housekeeping team.
**Job Description**:
**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:
- Thoroughly inspect designated guestrooms, public areas, guest corridors, guest lift, lobbies, service areas, and fire exits.
- Ensure that room cleaning productivity is monitored closely and maintained
- Supervise and co-ordinate all housekeeping functions
- Lead, train and develop the housekeeping team
- Process requests and delegates work assignments in a timely manner while adhering to the Hotel’s brand standards
**Qualifications**:
**YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE**:
- Good communication skills and a high standard of grooming and personal presentation.
- Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisor role highly desirable however not essential.
- A keen eye for detail and good time management skills.
- Experience with OPERA desirable however not essential.
