A 292-room hotel, Mercure Gold Coast Resort spans over 3.5 hectares and is an oasis located amongst expansive gardens on the Gold Coast.

Overlooking the Resort’s pool and ninth Hole of the Palm Meadows Golf Course, _The_ _Green Dining_ and _The Cart Bar and Kitchen_ are our two food and drink outlets ready to welcome our guests, in addition to extensive conference facilities and two stunning guest pools.

We have the opportunity for **Food & Beverage Attendants** to join our fast paced and dynamic Food & Beverage department. This role will work as part of a focused team, living the culture of guest passion and excellent service.

**PART-TIME AND CASUAL POSITIONS AVAILABLE**
**Job Description** WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:

- Delivering warm and friendly service while working across _The Green Dining_, Th_e Cart Bar & Kitchen_, and Conferencing & Events,
- Order taking while maximising sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling,
- Work as part of a focused team, living the culture of guest passion and excellent service.

**Qualifications** YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE**:

- Excellent communication skills and a high standard of grooming and personal presentation,
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience with a friendly, guest focused attitude, with experience within a hotel or resort restaurant, bar or banqueting department(s) highly regarded.
- Currently hold, or willing and able to obtain a QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate,
- Have the availability and flexibility to work shifts across Monday to Sunday including early mornings and late nights and Public Holidays.
- Unlimited work rights in Australia. **The Resort is unable to offer Sponsorship for this position.**
