We are now seeking a full-time Safety and Compliance Coordinator to support our People, Safety and Culture Team.

The Role
Reporting to the National People, Safety and Culture Manger, you will be responsible for:

- Maintaining equipment maintenance records & company registers and ensuring all equipment remains compliant
- Assisting with the coordination of the health and wellbeing program
- Assisting in the implementation of the OHS Management System
- Booking personnel WHS and compliance training
- Distributing relevant OHS information/ articles/ legislative updates to management
- Performing other OHS related activities within your skill, competence and training
- Liaising with return to work coordinators and the People and Culture Coordinators on employment/OSH related matters from time to time
- Maintaining confidentiality of all employment related data and information at all times

Your Background
In order to be successful in this role, you will need:

- A Drivers Licence and own vehicle
- To strongly communicate with clients and colleagues
- To conduct day to day duties autonomously
- To follow company policies and procedures
- A desire to promote and positive safety culture within the workplace
- Training in OHS or WorkSafe accredited course and/or rehabilitation and return to work coordinator training or willingness to obtain
- A minimum of one year experience in a safety related role
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
