**The Role**
Bielby is experiencing a period of sustained growth and as a result are seeking a **Safety Advisor** reporting to the Project Manager, driving excellence in the overall delivery of an Inner-City Transport Main Roads Project, duties including:
- Providing support and active mentoring to the project team in all matters of Health, Safety.
- Assisting the Project Manager to ensure all notices are served on external bodies.
- Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
- Liaising with the client or the client's representative.
- Being proactive in the improvement of the Bielby Management System.
- Reporting health and safety incidents, investigations, improvements and statistics to senior management.
- Performing duties for the site audit, inspections and reviews to ensure compliance with Project standards
- Identifying potential issues and provide solutions to any HSE related matters
**About You**
- Tertiary Qualifications in Health and Safety such as Cert IV Workplace Health and Safety or other suitable specialisation to meet the project requirement is preferred.
- 5 years minimum experience in civil construction industry in a similar role.
- Ideally Civil Construction experience on Transport Main Roads projects
- Whitecard trained/inducted.
- Chain of Responsibility Frontline
- CivilPro
- Pre-employment Medical
