The roleReporting to the Manager, People and Performance this is a key role in delivering practical advice and support to Hospital and Health Services and the Department of Health on complex employment matters and to assist in the delivery of significant, consistent outcomes that contribute to the achievement of Queensland Health's organisational goals. You will be responsible for managing direct reports' performance, including coaching, and mentoring to continue to professionally develop in both technical skills and behaviours. Additionally the Principal Advisor will provide expert advice and recommendations on appropriate management and resolution of complex employment matters including dismissal, discipline, suspension, and medical assessment of employees.
