**_ Where you’ll be working_**

The Cancer Institute NSW is the NSW Government’s cancer control agency, established to lessen the impact of cancer across the state.

**_ What you’ll be doing_**

Support the implementation, management, monitoring and evaluation of a range of projects and contracts that contribute to the achievement of strategic and operational objectives for the Institute. The focus includes provision of procurement and contracts governance advice and support to across different Divisions and assistance with capital planning and assets management.

**_ Remuneration/Benefits_**

In addition to base salary:

- 11.5% superannuation
- 4 weeks annual leave (plus 17.5% leave loading)
- 10 days sick leave
- 40 hours per week which include accrual of monthly Allocated Day Off (ADO) x 12 per year.

**_ Essential requirements_**
- Demonstrated procurement and/or contract management experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver and meet project objectives and requirements.
- The ability to resolve problems in a complex operation environment.

**_ Pre-screening questions_**
- Describe your experience and achievements in managing complex and/or high value procurement in a public or government organisation. Include examples and details of the outcomes that resulted from your contribution.
- Provide an example of an urgent procurement situation that arose within a project or program you were involved in. Include particulars of what the issue was, what you did to approach the problem, and what the result was.
