About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced and passionate **Recovery Coach** who can think on their feet, stay calm under pressure, and bring warmth, empathy, and professionalism to every interaction.
While TARS handles service coordination, you’ll collaborate closely with the team attending meetings, sharing insights, and assisting with coordination tasks to ensure each participant’s recovery plan stays on track.
What You’ll Bring
- **Extensive experience** working as a Recovery Coach or Mental Health Support Worker.
- Strong understanding of **psychosocial disability**, trauma-informed practice, and recovery principles.
- A **bubbly, approachable personality** balanced with **firm, professional boundaries**.
- Excellent **problem-solving** and **critical-thinking skills** - you know how to adapt quickly and make sound decisions.
- Outstanding **computer and documentation skills**, including report writing and NDIS-related record keeping.
- Confidence working independently while maintaining open communication with the broader TARS team.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum **2 years’ experience** in a mental health recovery or similar role.
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Mental Health, Community Services, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Current **NDIS Worker Screening Check**, **WWCC**, and **Police Check**.
- Valid **driver’s licence** and access to a reliable vehicle.

**Job Type**: Subcontract
Pay: $48.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
