Our client is a growing education provider seeking an experienced Business Manager.

**What is a Business Manager?**

Our client is a Not for Profit educational provider in Western Sydney seeking to employ an experienced Business Manager.

A newly created role, as the Business Manager, you will have oversight for all non-teaching functions including maintenance, capex budgeting and planning, forecasting, reporting, finance, property management, governance and risk and to ensure that policies and procedures reflect the culture and future outlook of the organisation.

Working with the board you will:

- Develop and execute the company business plan with a focus on growth and profitability
- Lead and build a team of professionals(non-teaching), providing guidance at every stage
- Oversee and implement budgeting, financial planning, and financial reporting
- Lead day-to-day operations and ensure that the company operates effectively
- Provide the board and key stakeholders with accurate and functional reports for them to use in strategic decision making
- Ensure risk and compliance comply with regulatory requirements and obligations,
- Review and assess insurances ensuring they are adequate and relevant
- Manage and monitor contracts and tenders
- Manage fee reporting and ensure the financial health of the organisation
- Promote key strategic objectives to Administration, Finance, Property and IT Teams as agreed with the SMT and Board

To be considered for this unique opportunity you will ideally have worked as a business manager preferably within an educational institution, have strong organisational skills, the ability to carry out change within a small organisation and solid financial nous (CA/CPA would be advantageous)
