**Description**:
In your role as Family Education Practitioner you will exhibit the resilience and calmness to manage a variety of responsibilities, some of which include planning, preparing, facilitating and delivering family or community focused programs or groups. You will be responsible for direct service provision to individuals and be inclusive of children, young people and families with complex needs or where the safety of children may be at risk. You will be proactive in updating and maintaining case notes, record keeping and providing supported referral and advocacy for participants as appropriate. As a contributive team member you will be actively involved in team meetings and service planning, working cohesively with the other family services within CRCS and seeking to establish relationships with government, non government and the broader community with the clear goal of providing support to individuals. To be considered for this exciting role you will have a Degree in Social Work, Education, Psychology or relevant field or a Certificate IV in Community Services, Social Science, Social Work, or Early Childhood. You will also hold a First Aid Certificate and ideally have some experience in the delivery of psychoeducation, such as Circle of Security, Tuning into Kids, Bringing up Great Kids, or Seasons for Growth. A current Driver's license and car are essential

- Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
- Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may effect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position
- Maintain full COVID-19 vaccination currency and provide evidence of their vaccinations to CRCS (sensitive information is kept private and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles) unless they are able to provide suitable evidence of a medical contraindication that prevents them from receiving this vaccine.
