We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Lead Educator to join our unique, amazing organisation.

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Educator to join our team.

In your role, you will be leading your team of passionate Educators to care for the needs of the children and families within your room.

You will develop strong relationships and engagement with the children in your care, transparent and caring partnerships with the families, while being a positive role model, engaged leader, active contributor and mentor to your team.

Delivering quality care and education, while upholding the Centre's philosophy and best practice policies and procedures are at the forefront of your decision making, all while committing to continuous improvement and innovation.

**Description**:
**You will be responsible for**:

- Manages time and uses tools effectively to assist with planning and organising.
- Demonstrates the organisations Values, Code of Conduct, professional boundaries and NQF Standards and assists others with ethical dilemmas.
- Takes responsibility for own work outcomes and ensures Educators understand their role and responsibilities.
- Actively works to resolve operational, interpersonal and family concerns for the Education and Care Service. Plan and deliver a high quality, inclusive, educational program.
- Support children to grow and develop and are committed to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy, safe and nurturing environment.

**Essential Skills, knowledge and Experience**:

- Demonstrated understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law, Regulations, Framework and Standards.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework or My Time Our Place Framework
- Understanding of work health and safety responsibilities both under the Work Health and Safety Law and the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmental needs of children
- Ability to develop strong and sustained relationships with children and able to demonstrate a clear picture of the child as a learner
- Ability to induct, manage performance and professionally develop educators in the workplace
- Ability to provide effective supervision and coach educators to ensure that the Education and Care Service is welcoming, compliant and meets the needs of all children

**You will hold**:

- Diploma in Children Services or equivalent recognised by ACECQA
- Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates

**Skills and Experiences**:
**CRCS also requires all employees to**:
Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may affect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position.
Maintain full COVID-19 vaccination currency and provide evidence of their vaccinations to CRCS (sensitive information is kept private and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles) unless they are able to provide suitable evidence of a medical contraindication that prevents them from receiving this vaccine.
