About the Program Manager - Family Foundations role
The Program Manager - Family Foundations is part of the Child, Youth and Family team and is responsible for managing the Family Foundations program, across the ACT. As a program manager at CRCS, this role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to creating a safe and inclusive environment where the rights, safety, and wellbeing of all children and young people are at the centre of everything we do within our Child, Youth and Family program portfolio. The scope of the role includes:

- Family Foundations Early Parenting Support Program
- Wraparound Support Program in partnership with the Ginninderra Early Childhood Centre
- Playgroups

This is a full time ongoing position based at 26 Chandler Street, Belconnen but will be required to work at other locations from time to time.
The main accountabilities and duties include, but not limited to:

- Leading and developing a team
- Financial management
- Clinical and practice oversight
- Reporting and data analysis
- Program evaluation and social outcome measurement
- Developing and monitoring work instructions, best practice guidelines and safe work guidelines
- Quality audits, improvement plans and achievement against quality standards
- Supervision and performance development
- Feedback and complaints management and reporting
- Safety and risk management

**Selection Criteria for the role**:
Tertiary qualification in human services, early childhood (or other relevant) discipline. These qualifications - such as social work, Psychology or Counselling - may require membership of professional associations or Registration through AHPRA.
Experience and knowledge in the areas of child development and interventions for early parenting support for families with children aged 0-5
Sound understanding of practice and theories for family work such as Trauma Informed Practice, strengths-based practice and family-centred practice
Knowledge and understanding of mental health and developmental issues and their relationship to child and adolescent development
Knowledge of and experience working with vulnerable families
Demonstrated respect for and competence to lead a team to meet Child Safe Standards to promote and respect the individual cultural, spiritual and diversity needs and requirements of children and families.
Experience and high-level skills in managing financial and human resources
CRCS employees must hold a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration and have this with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
CRCS employees are required to undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may affect their eligibility to work or performing the inherent requirements of their position.
Current Driver’s Licence and access to a registered, comprehensively insured motor vehicle for work related purposes.
CRCS may require the incumbent to undertake employment screening such as a medical assessment, functional assessment or psychological profile prior to an offer of employment and/or as determined by CRCS during employment
