**EOI - Assistant**Change & Release Officer**
- ** Employment Type**: Temporary until 21 January 2027 (1 role)
- ** Location**: Flexible/hybrid working arrangements available across NSW, with some travel to Sydney metro locations required from time to time (negotiable)
- ** Grade**: Clerk Grade 5/6
- ** Salary Range**: $97,027 - $107,059 p.a. base salary dependent on experience, plus 11.5% superannuation

**This role is open to ongoing at-grade 5/6 employees or those currently on a 5/6 Talent Pool only.**

**The opportunity**

In this role you will support a structured change process, which enables a consistent approach to the logging, assessment, approval and review of system/software changes to ensure mínimal service disruption and a positive customer experience.

**Your**day-to-day** tasks will**include**:
- Performing quality checks on submitted technical changes to ensure that the information submitted meets the required standards-
Assisting stakeholders to understand how the change & release processes work, including the steps which needs to be taken, the information required, and any applicable deadlinesPreparing reports, agendas, and minutes to support the change & release processesCreation of communications to relevant stakeholders on the change & release activities in progress, including planned outages and change freeze periods- Providing general assistance to senior members of the team in order to support the delivery of the change & release process and process uplift

**What you will bring to this role**- Demonstrated experience in supporting the logging, assessment, approval, and review of system/software changes using effective change control policies, processes, and standards to minimise customer and business impact.-
Experience in contributing to the review and maintenance of policies, procedures, guidelines, and related documentation to support change and develop efficient processes that minimise the impact of planned changes- Experience in building strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure effective change control and implement agreed changes that meet business needs, while maintaining and supporting services, including coordinating business systems for after-hours requests to ensure optimal service delivery.

**Key knowledge and experience**- Sound knowledge of Technology Change management framework, policies and processes.
