**About the Role**
- Permanent Full-Time position
- 6 hours Monday to Friday between the hours of 0700 and 1800 with one-hour meal break
- Based in Sydney 2000
- Hourly rate
- $71,925.00 + superannuation
**Primary purpose of the position**
The **Workplace Ambassador **strengthens the sense of community at our client offices, by helping the workplace team facilitate togetherness, making operating in a office space simple and easy, positively linking people and solutions, whilst undertaking all of this in a receptive, fun, approachable and responsive way.
The Workplace Ambassador is responsible for key elements of the organization operation. You will be a vital member of the team connecting internal and external stakeholders together and support engagement, as well as improvement in facilities management and the delivery of client-centric service excellence to end users
**Key responsibilities & duties**
Provide superior customer service to meet both internal and external client expectations
- Some reception duties
- Greet visitors to the office and assist with notifying their host
**Procurement & Vendor Support**
- Assist in the management of contractors onsite to ensure they perform to the required standards (including inspection of vendors' works)
- Assist in the procurement of vendors and services as required
**Finance Support**
- Assist in financial processes to ensure that all financial management requirements are completed in a timely and accurate manner
**Health & Safety**
- Conduct regular audits to ensure safety procedures are being complied with
- Assist in carrying out safety procedures when needed
**Site Operations tasking**
- Meeting Room Coordination
- Consumables Order
- General Site Cleanliness
- Pantry stock check
- Ensure serviceability of all machines related to pantry and kitchen services.
- Provide assistance in general administrative activities as required.
- Facility walkthrough to oversee site services (Soft & Hard) - Ensure the implementation of a Preventive and Planned Maintenance programme
- Identify, document and report maintenance and repair work through Corrigo
- Proactively Suggest additional repairs when identified and needed
- Manage stationery requirements and related inventory management
- Event support - Help and assist host in event set up
- Beer Kegs and Co2 change when required
- Escorting Clients/Contractors
**Risk Management**
- Assist in the property risk management program
- Take on a role as first aider and/or emergency warden
- Participate in the disaster recovery and business continuity plans as required
- Follow established escalation procedures and incident reporting procedures
- Ensure visitors are signed in for compliance tracking
- Adhere to organization's business conduct by ensuring compliance with the firm's guidelines, procedures, and strategies
- Project Management & Organisation Skills
- Capacity to deal with ambiguity and solve complex problems effectively
- Analytical, proven ability to solve problems using a quantitative approach
- Proven ability to employ holistic approaches and looks at long term solutions
- Achieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreement targets
- Other tasks consistent with the role of Workplace Ambassador assigned by the campus workplace manager
