**How will I help?**

The Westpac HR job family supports a wide range of stakeholders and businesses, to ensure that our people experience exceptional support and a market leading culture, during their time at Westpac.

Our HR Shared Service Centre are currently seeking a HR Advisor to provide HR advice and support for employees and leaders across the Westpac Group. As a trusted advisor and coach, this role provides ongoing advice, and guidance on people matters across the full employee life-cycle, HR calendar activities, as well as more complex matters and performance management.

The role is responsible for building people leader capability through coaching, as well as supporting and guiding leaders and employees on the use of HR tools and services. The role is critical in identifying trends and “hot issues”, and liaising with our specialist HR teams for expert support within the HR job family.
- Provide policy advice and leadership coaching via phone (predominantly) and online for Westpac Group employees and people leaders across all HR dimensions
- A trusted Advisor and Coach to people leaders (below General Managers) on all people matters both individual and team wide, and including informal performance management, small organisational change and HS&W matters
- Face to face advice and coaching via video conferencing to provide tailored support for complex matters
- Escalates people matters where appropriate to specialist HR teams within the job family, whilst ensuring the employee is treated with care and has a seamless service experience
- Support business leaders and employees through HR calendar events e.g. Remuneration Review, Talent Reviews, Quarterly conversations and goal setting
- Participates in cross-team agile sprints to deliver process improvements

**What do I need?**
- At least two years of HR experience, ideally demonstrating broad knowledge, however specialists would also be considered
- Demonstrated business and commercial acumen, to support the delivery of holistic advice to employees and stakeholders
- Experiencing working in a high volume environment
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively
- Strong customer service focus
