Great opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to take ownership of the operational HR functions.

Our client is one of the largest independent property groups in Australia
**The Role**
Reporting to the Head of HR this role will provide a proactive, comprehensive and exceptional HR service in all areas of the business. The HR Advisor will enhance the working environment and support the business in meeting its strategic objectives. There is a large emphasis on OH&S, ER and Compliance.
**Key accountabilities include**
- Support and contribute to a range of HR projects, including programs relating to recruitment and talent retention, recognition and reward, inclusion and diversity, performance management, employee engagement and leadership development.
- Coordinate the annual performance review and goal-setting process.
- Participate in the National HR Group Network forums.
- Participate in the Culture and Engagement Committee.
- Provide advice on HR policies and procedures to managers and staff
- across Vic/Tas.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on staff performance issues.
- Monitor award entitlement updates to ensure compliance.
- Ensure all documentation is legally compliant and is representative of
- 'best practice'.
- Maintain Employment Agreements and Position descriptions for all staff.
- Review and update existing HR policies.
- Deliver internal courses as required including Induction presentations.
- Review and monitor that all valuers certifications are up to date on employment hero HRIS.
- Undertake recruitment and selection-related activities, including advertising, scheduling interviews and liaising with applicants.
- Ensure relevant employment checks are performed.
- Prepare new starter documentation and coordinate the onboarding and offboarding processes for all employees.
- Participate in the graduate recruitment program.
- Support the development of OHS policies and programs.
- Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics.
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
- Review existing policies and measure and update according to legislation.
- Participate in the Safety Committee.
- Prepare human resource reports (e.g headcount, turnover, etc) as required.
- Prepare communication regarding People and Culture initiatives and activities as required
- Monitor the people and Culture inbox and respond to all general enquiries
- Maintain personnel files, Employment Hero HRIS and other key HR systems.
**Your Profile**
- Well organised and able to juggle multiple tasks - dynamic, and
- action-orientated, who meets deadlines and makes it happen.
- Have an ability to build and maintain relationships and work collaboratively with people at all levels.
- Must be an excellent communicator (written and verbal) with the ability to earn trust and credibility.
- Have an ability to influence, network, negotiate, counsel and mediate.
- Be able to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality.
