We welcome applicants who have built strong HR generalist skills, whether as an HR Coordinator, Officer, Advisor, Generalist, or in an equivalent role where you’ve covered compliance, employee relations, and policy development.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Deliver HR generalist support across compliance, employee relations, and operations.
- Advise stakeholders at all levels on award interpretation, employee relations, disciplinary processes, and legislative requirements.
- Support managers in handling performance management, from coaching through to formal processes.
- Develop and implement HR policies to ensure compliance with Fair Work and industry awards.
- Manage compliance requirements, including visa/sponsorship obligations and accurate record-keeping.
- Coordinate WHS initiatives and workers’ compensation, including return-to-work programs.
- Oversee onboarding processes and provide support with recruitment where required.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation, contracts, and employee records across multiple venues.
- Partner with venue leaders to ensure consistent, compliant HR practices in a fast-paced environment.

**What You’ll Bring**
- **3-5 years’ experience as an HR Coordinator, Advisor, or Generalist with consistent progression in Australia.**:

- Degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, Fair Work legislation, and award interpretation (Restaurant Award highly regarded).
- Demonstrated experience supporting performance management and employee relations processes.
- Exposure to WHS, workers’ compensation, and return-to-work coordination.
- Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Confident in advising managers and leaders, with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in hospitality or other award-driven, multi-site industries (highly regarded).
