**The Role**
An APS6 Logistics Officer is the primary contact for Defence units requiring support and advice on inventory management activities, policies and legislation. They are accountable to undertake complex logistics management and governance work within an integrated workforce.

An APS6 Logistics Officer will exercise initiative and judgment to provide logistics policy advice and contribute to strategic planning, project management and policy development. They are expected to be capable of building team capability through coaching, feedback and developing the quality of work undertaken by others. They are accountable to set work priorities and manage workflows, compose responses to correspondence, and produce reports related to logistics inventory management.

**About our Team**
Joint Health Command (JHC) is responsible for the delivery of healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel. JHC is also responsible for the health preparedness of ADF personnel for operations, and the coordination of health units for deployment in support of operations.
