**Motor Fleet**

headquarters in Sydney and our branch offices in Melbourne,

SMEs, industrial companies and corporate customers with insurance
solutions that are specifically tailored to their requirements. In
addition to HDI's prominent position in the German and broader

its customers local policies for their global operations, which ensure
that the established service and insurance protection is extended for

Since launching in early 2023 Motor has surpassed all expectations with HDI being seen as a
go-to market for Motor Fleet of all policy types and fleet compositions.

Whilst still considered ‘new’, our broker partners have become accustomed to approaching
us for Motor Fleet solutions. Piggy backing off the already strong HDI brand, HDI Motor Fleet
has become a natural market to approach in this highly contested and long established
space.

For this reason we expanded our presence and are now represented in Sydney, Melbourne,
Queensland & Perth, with plans to further expand into Adelaide.

This broad geographic team requires a dynamic individual who can not only efficiently
operate in a remote environment, but also within a vast network of insurance brokers spread
across the country.

This permanent full-time role, which is based in either Sydney or Melbourne, is a great
opportunity for someone who is a keen learner and who would like to build skills to further
their career development. You will be provided with training and guidance and play a pivotal
role supporting our Motor underwriting team nationally. You should possess exceptional
attention to detail and be a great team player with the ability to communicate across all
levels of the organisation.

Your role:
Accurate completion of premium and reinsurance calculations for processing;
To provide oversight and control of all processed premium for weekly
reconciliation including any unclosed business;
Provide Underwriters with assistance on renewals and file preparation including
technical pricing data completion;
Assist with the preparation and issuance of policy wordings, endorsements,
premium calculations and tax allocations;
Preparation, maintenance and overview of underwriting files and slips;
Assist with reviewing quote opportunities across trading platforms for referral and
discussion with the underwriting team;
Monitoring outstanding quotations and pending renewals, tracking and updating
progress through maintenance of the renewal and quotation registers;
Respond to broker queries and requests;
Build relationships with HDI’s insurance partners including intermediaries and
clients;
Co-Ordinate outstanding debtors and liaise with the Policy Operations and Credit
Control Teams;
Create and maintain the electronic filing system;
Providing general administration and underwriting support nationally.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 12 months of general Insurance experience preferred, but will consider
relevant qualifications or other experience;
High level of numeracy and computer literacy required, demonstration of studies and
grades achieved either at High School or University;
Strong Microsoft Excel skills;
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) demonstrated in current role;
and
Ability to show initiative and pro-activeness in the completion tasks.
Commenced or completed ANZIIF qualifications;
University degree or equivalent further education
