Reporting to the Database and Project Manager, the Data Specialist plays an important role in the growth and development of the Alfred Foundation. Specifically, this role will be responsible for supporting the management of the Foundation’s data systems and data management including assisting to monitor and review fundraising activities, ensuring that data is entered into the system accurately and is always up to date.

You will also assist in the preparation of data for fundraising campaigns and appeals as well as in the financial reconciliation of online donations and high-level reporting. Additionally, you will be required from time-to-time to support fundraising at Alfred Health’s Caulfield and Sandringham campuses through data updates and extraction.

About YOU
- You ideally should have a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role,
- Have experience using and managing Salesforce,
- You understand the data needs of fundraising organisations and back-end requirements for effective systems,
- Exceptional skills in database management and the oversight of data systems,
- Experience in data analysis and the development of reports and dashboards,
- The ability to mass update and create records using Salesforce data tools,
- Experience with extracting data for campaigns and appeals and working on donor segmentation and journeys,
- Having previous experience with Pardot will be highly desirable,
- Experience working with third party fundraising platforms and integrating them with data systems,
- Have an understanding of the legal requirements for charities in the storage and use of donor data.
