We are seeking an experienced professional, committed to providing a range of investment projects across the space sector team within Invest SA.

The Business Development Officer works closely with the Director, Defence and Space and Business Development Manager, Space and is required to work under broad direction and manage a range of investment projects across the Space sector.

This includes assisting to develop, structure and deliver investment projects with industry, research into specific topics and producing complex and sensitive reports, presentations, and briefings to inform the department and Government on projects, policy, and outcomes.
- A understanding of emerging trends within the Space Sector, nationally and internationally
- A high level of written and oral communication geared towards reporting, the preparation of briefings and presentations, including the ability to explain concepts succinctly and clearly to successfully negotiate outcomes.
- Experience in developing and maintaining effective networks and operational relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the Space sector, investment opportunities and challenges and State Government priorities and relevant policies with regards to Space (advantageous)

The role is available for an immediate start for **6-month **duration.
