This department works to promote effective fair trading and competition in the marketplace to benefit people, business and the community. Providing delivery of a range of services to the Department.
**Your new role**
Your new role as a project officer will include undertaking moderately complex work and projects across the Infocentre under limited direction. Working closely with the Operations Director and the Infocentre Assistant Directors.
Your primary responsibilities are:
- Assessing and monitoring compliance with laws administrated by the Department, reviewing contacts to identity concerning reports in line with the Departments policy and regulations.
- Responding information enquiries from the public and reports of misconduct
- Writing letters and reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Undertaking research and evaluation processes
- Supporting the development of staff
- Administrative and clerical support including telephony configuration, rostering, knowledge management and inbox management
- Quality assurance of Infocentre responses
- Data entry, analysis and communication of findings
- Assisting with other tasks including projects aimed at improving outcomes or processes
**What you'll need to succeed**
Security requirements: You must be an Australia citizen and possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a Baseline Personnel Security Clearance.
**What you'll get in return**
