This Federal Government Department is looking for an organised, energetic and dedicated person to join their small and dynamic team.

**Your new role**
The APS5 Project Officer will work in collaboration with this team to support the development and delivery of projects that influence what children learn in schools about Indigenous Australian culture.

The Project Officer will have analytical, organisational, administrative, and writing skills to support the work across the team.

Responsibilities of the role may include (but are not limited to):

- Contributing to multiple projects and delivering results across the team
- Developing and implementing administrative, organisational, and logístical procedures and processes, in line with APS requirements
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Contributing to and providing feedback on internal and external documents
- Providing logístical support for professional learning and school workshops undertaken by the team
- Actively contributing to a positive team culture
- Other duties as directed

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will:

- The ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a small team
- Excellent organisational and administration skills, and proven ability to deliver on tasks
- Ability to work with autonomy to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
- Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work with precision, demonstrating close attention to detail and ability to follow procedures carefully
- The ability to provide clear written communication and correspondence to a high standard.

Experience working in a role within the education sector will be looked upon favourably.
