What will you be doing?
- Facilitating relevant program/project progress and performance meetings; supporting the preparation of materials including minutes and agenda distribution
- Support the creation and review of project governance artefacts, such as implementation plans and schedules, project status reporting and closure reports.
- Engaging with stakeholders to solicit and share information related to program/projects and explore opportunities to collaborate and seek alignment.
- Facilitating adoption of strategic and project management processes, tools and systems through established processes, and the provision of advice and guidance
- Coordinating, analysing, tracking, and reporting progress and performance of all strategic initiatives and projects within the insurance business
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of reporting metrics, data, and insights
- Tracking and analysis of actual and forecasted costs, projected benefits and resource planning for projects and strategic initiatives portfolio.
- Undertaking project health checks in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
- Reviewing processes and completed projects to identifying continuous improvement opportunities and assisting in communicating and implementing learnings for future business projects and strategic initiatives.
- Supporting iterative enhancements of strategy and project management tools, templates, processes, and documentation.
What are we looking for?
- Demonstrated success in a similar role.
- Project management or project office experience.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to successfully adapt to evolving priorities and deadlines.
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline desirable
- Project management certification desirable
- Understanding of Agile ways of working desirable
- Power BI and advanced Excel skills desirable
