Our client in the education sector is actively seeking an IT Project Coordinator to join their team in Perth.The Project Coordinator is responsible for the efficient development, coordination, and implementation of assigned projects within the Digital Identity Program. Working under the guidance of the Project Lead, the Project Coordinator ensures that projects are initiated effectively and adheres to quality control, scope, and schedules.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate project activities using appropriate project management methodologies and systems to achieve defined project outcomes.
- Collaborate with relevant partners and stakeholders to identify project deliverables, define clear objectives, and establish appropriate project outcomes.
- Manage and coordinate project work plans, timelines, implementation, and evaluation methods.
- Monitor project costs, allocate resources, and provide regular updates and reports to the Project Lead.
- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, providing progress updates to ensure project schedules are met.
- Identify and manage project impacts and risks, reporting on them as necessary.
- Prepare project reports and related documentation.
- Take appropriate action to resolve any issues affecting project delivery.
- Monitor and report progress and performance against project schedules and indicators.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and evaluate project milestones.
- Undertake additional tasks consistent with the accountabilities and responsibilities mentioned above.

**Criteria: Qualifications**:

- Completion of a relevant degree with significant relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education/training.

**Knowledge, Experience, and Skills**:

- Demonstrated project management skills, including coordinating and implementing project plans to achieve desired outcomes within resource constraints.
- Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively consult and liaise with diverse stakeholders, demonstrating cross-cultural sensitivity.
- Strong written communication skills, capable of constructing clear and concise project reports.
- Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail within deadlines.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team, respecting differences, providing leadership and support, accepting direction, and working towards group goals.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Project management certification.
- Previous experience in a tertiary environment.

**Work Requirements**:

- Successful completion of a criminal record check in accordance with the University's National Police Certificate Assessment procedures.
