**The Project**

The Utilities business are the preferred contractor on two of the largest energy infrastructure projects within the Australian energy sector, and one of these projects is located in Queensland. These two exciting opportunities secure a pipeline of work until 2027 and include the design & construction of new transmission lines and substations.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Logistics Managers.

**What will a day in this role look like**:

- Maintain a thorough stock-take register of all materials (tower steel, foundations cages, conductor drums, opgw drums) and hardware (insulators and fittings etc) in the yard - advising project engineers and supervisors when stock is low.
- Receipt materials received and identifying any defects to the project engineer, contract administrator and supervisors on the day of delivery.
- Coordinate project requirements with projects supervisors ensuring all materials and hardware are delivered to tower pads ahead of work crews.
- Coordinate with suppliers on delivery of materials, ensure sufficient plant, equipment and craneage (as required) is ready and mobilised to the yard ahead of deliveries.
- Understanding project schedule requirements and driving leading hands, labour and subcontractors to achieve project targets

**What are we looking for you to bring to the team**:

- Experience working in a logistics role - Preferably within a power and Transmission environment
- Ability to coordinate and prioritise team activities within a multi-discipline project
- A commitment to promote a safety orientated team culture
- Proactively seek to continuously improve performance, deliverables and work efficiencies.
- Display effective verbal and written communication capability.
