The Sydney Gymnastic & Aquatic Centre is recruiting for passionate and experienced Aqua Group Fitness Instructors to join their growing, outgoing and vibrant team

Our Aqua Group Fitness classes are water-based, low impact strength and flexibility based fitness classes for all ages and abilities. Classes include Aqua Aerobics, Aqua Zumba, Synergy Swim (Over55s). We are also looking to introduce 4 BRAND NEW classes in 2025 that are not offered anywhere in Sydney

**The day to day**:
Group Fitness Instructors are responsible for delivering a variety of professional aquatic-based fitness classes to SGAC Aquatics Customers. Instruct members on effective workout methods; explain proper techniques and teach appropriate methods to strengthen specific muscles.

Someone who has a passion for improving an individual’s health and well-being. You must have the ability to adapt quickly and modify sessions to suit member’s needs. Someone with superior communication skills, who is motivated, friendly and has a natural engaging nature.

**What you will need to be considered?**
- Previous experience in delivering fun and engaging group fitness classes
- Group Exercise Qualification
- Aqua Fitness Qualification / AUSTSWIM WETS Qualification
- Provide First Aid/CPR Qualifications
- Registration with Fitness Australia (unless you hold an AUSTSWIM WETS Qualification)
- Working with Children Check
- Responsible for working in line with safety and knowledge required for this position
- Display a high-level of customer service skills
- Knowledge of group fitness teaching strategies and the incorporation of music, tempo, cueing technique and rhythm
- Availability days and nights (flexible rosters)
