**Description**:
**About Us**
InTune Pathways is an autistic led company supporting the autistic and broader neurodivergent community. We design, develop and deliver programmes; and facilitate communities for a range of clientele, including individuals (Autistic, ADHD, PDA, etc) and their families.
Our community includes but is not limited to individuals, families, allied health professionals, educators and organisations looking to build on their professional development around neurodivergence. Alongside our online education programmes, we have created principled and inclusive spaces for individuals and families to share in the development and exploration of neurodivergent identity and culture; away from the medical model.
Our Director, Kristy Forbes, is an educator and neurodivergent support specialist in the Autistic community and is passionate about supporting families and individuals through radical acceptance, social change and education.
We challenge long held beliefs and assumptions about autism and ADHD, and our work and education is political. We are committed to decolonisation and anti-racism in our work, we are LGBTQIA+ embracing, and we understand that equity, equality, advocacy, activism and any form of social justice must be intersectional.
The communities we facilitate and work within require gentleness, kindness, patience and a willingness on our part to listen and learn about experiences other than our own whilst reserving judgement.
Many of our clients have been system impacted and/or have experienced systemic oppression as a direct result of neuronormative medical models of therapy, education and care.
We seek to dismantle, hold space for and witness recovery in the form of thriving neurodivergent individuals and families; and by educating professionals to create change in the delivery of their services.
**About your new job**
Working closely with our Director, you will be instrumental in helping us to connect, engage and nurture our audiences.
You will be responsible for a number of social channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and YouTube, alongside our Facebook communities.
This will see your responsibilities include:
- Moderating and responding to social media comments across all social media platforms
- Creating content, in particular graphics
- Moderating (approving and declining posts and comments), encouraging engagement, being responsive to community needs within our Facebook groups and contributing to principled community culture via relationships with clientele
- Supporting our Director in live Zoom sessions and events (this includes events that are outside of business hours), generally between 5-10 pm for no more than two hours at a time.
**What you bring to the team**
- You love working autonomously from home.
- You need a team that understands and offers flexibility.
- You’re GREAT with socials, but you know that who you are and how you contribute to the world matters far more, but those two things together = BAM.
- You possess lived experience in working with and/or supporting autistic, ADHD, and individuals experiencing high anxiety; and/or their families.
- You understand or are willing to learn about neuroaffirming and trauma informed practice.
- You understand or are willing to learn about neurodivergence as identity, culture and disability; not disorder.
- You’re known for your well considered communication in response to diverse individuals and families who have been system-impacted. You’re patient, empathetic and kind, with a sense of humour. Ideally, you’ll have experience working with and understanding individuals and families with adverse experiences and who may be experiencing crisis in their daily lives.
- You’ll be sensitive to, curious about, and open minded in understanding neurodivergent communication, and open to learning about neurodivergent identity and culture through the neurodiversity paradigm or framework.
- Ideally, you’ll have experience with Zoom, or similar video hosting platforms. You're prepared to be an active participant in online group gatherings and assisting the Director in the running of events.
- Understanding and experience with the neurodiversity paradigm and autistic identity and culture is a bonus.
- While not essential, experience with Kajabi will make your learning curve a lot easier.
**What we bring to the table**
As an Autistic and neurodivergent led company, we take pride in working with, not against, the working styles of our team. You will have the opportunity to create your own schedule in agreement with the team, working from home, and with remuneration to match your hours and skills. We are offering part time and casual arrangements.
- We are fair, honest, family friendly, and respect one another. Our radical acceptance is for each other, not just the community we support.
- Humour is paramount, communication is priority and we love a giggle.
- You’ll have the opportunity to immerse yo
