Community Engagement Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead engagement strategies for key projects and strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with Communications teams to create engaging content that resonates with diverse stakeholders.
- Coordinate seamless online and in-person events, from logistics to bookings.
- Contribute to the development and rollout of engagement strategies across various Council initiatives.
- Manage and maintain our online engagement portal, ensuring effective stakeholder communication.
- Provide guidance on embedding best-practice engagement principles within teams.
- Produce detailed reports capturing successes and learnings from engagement activities.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in driving successful engagement initiatives.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
- In-depth knowledge of engagement strategies and industry best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in leveraging technology for impactful online engagement.
- Ability to foster relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Results-driven team player focused on collective success.
- Relevant qualification in communications, social science, or related field.
Desired Skills:
- IAP2 certification or equivalent experience.
