**THE ROLE**
Reporting into the Group HR Director, and with one direct report, this is a newly created position with the opportunity to develop and deliver a Workplace Relations strategy at an enterprise wide level. You will be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering the Workplace Relations Strategy across the whole organisation;
- Managing the Workplace Relations risk register and developing risk mitigation strategies
- Leading enterprise bargaining projects with a focus on research and analysis to assess options and alignment with the broader people and culture strategy;
- Providing high quality Workplace Relations advice and support to the Group HR Director and the Divisional HR leads;
- Conducting internal audits and reviews to ensure compliance with legislation, industrial instruments and Policy Directives.
**THE CRITERIA**
- Have a strong understanding of contemporary ER/IR frameworks, legislation and practices;
- Have complex case management skills and advocacy experience;
- Have the ability to understand and navigate complex stakeholder environments, engage and influence stakeholders effectively and build consensus where required;
- Have proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment;
- Have the ability to coach and mentor people;
- Have the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and consult with them effectively;
- Have a degree or post grad qualification in industrial relations/employee relations.
