The purpose of this position is to ensure the processing and completion of all plant registrations, assist the Senior Lift Officer, assist in managing fire compliance and process share certificate transfers.
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Process all plant item registrations for Bright & Duggan to ensure the lifts, escalators and moving platforms are renewed annually, and a certificate of plant item is issued.
- Report to strata managers and/or building managers with any maintenance issues reported by the lift contractors to maintain the lift operations.
- Assist Senior Lift Officer with lift related matters when required, i.e. contracts.
- Manage and maintain telecommunication installations and registers.
- Manage electronic filing of documents for Bright & Duggan NSW.
- Management of incoming and outgoing mail, including scanning, and distributing.
- The ability to manage and action Work Queue items efficiently and deliver within allocated time frames.
- Liaising with various groups such as fire contractors, Executive Committee, Owners, Real Estate agents, Tenants, local Councils, and any other relevant body to assist with queries, requests, emergency attendance and conflict resolution, to ensure relations are professionally maintained for every owner’s corporation
**Key Selection Criteria**:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Well organised, able to work well under pressure
- Having a construction background is highly regarded, however not essential
- Displaying high ethics, respect, dedication, and commitment
- Excellent time management & organisational skills
- Strong attention to details
- Highly computer literate including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Can-do, with positive and happy attitude
- Ability to perform in fast paced environments
- Strong team player
- Positive & driven personality
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, including a professional phone manner
- Ability to build effective relationships with both internal & external stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously & manage multiple competing priorities
