BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys.

**What Will You Do**

Leading, and supported by, a dedicated team of software development and digital product solutions people, you will:

- ** lead and develop your team**: coach and motivate your team to support their engagement, well-being, performance and professional growth
- ** develop cross-functional relationships**:build collaborative relationships within internal teams such as Sales, R&D, Marketing and IT
- ** champion a CX and UX mindset**:lead CX and UX design thinking, educating others on these principles and supporting them to introduce this in their own work
- ** look at our tomorrow**: provide thought leadership to the business on the future of digital and technological capabilities including AI and AR
- ** ensure governance and compliance**:embed and maintain ways of working that align to Agile methodologies and meet business and ISO standards
- ** grow your customer knowledge**: engage with internal and external customers to build your understanding of their operating environment and requirements

As an experienced Leader of direct teams and cross-functional projects and exposure to working with legacy systems, you will bring:

- a sound understanding of CX and UX practices
- extensive knowledge of Agile software development methodology
- a proven ability to make sound decisions based on the business's commercial interests
- an inquisitive nature to explore our business and work across organisational boundaries
- a desire to bring new and different ideas - viewing our today and being curious about what we need for the future
