Minchinbury, Australia BlueScope Full time $60,000 - $90,000 per year

Job Description

BlueScope is an Australian-born global success story spanning 15 countries. Our team of over 16,500 people is our strength and we want our people to be safe, successful and well. We're leaders and innovators in transforming steel into smart products and solutions that support society, today and in the future. We're proud of brands, like COLORBOND steel that inspire and protect everything from hospitals to bridges and stadiums.

The Opportunity

BlueScope Building Components is looking for a Digital Solutions Specialist to join the Sales, Marketing and Innovation team based in Minchinbury NSW. BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys.

In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing our commerce platforms, EDI integrations, CRM applications, and broader digital initiatives.

This is more than a support role — it's an opportunity to shape digital solutions that will have direct business impact, gain end-to-end delivery exposure, and develop highly transferable skills in stakeholder engagement, solution delivery, and Scrum leadership. You'll be involved in strategic, high-value digital projects, benefit from mentorship by senior leaders, and have clear career pathways toward leadership, product ownership, or deeper technical expertise—depending on your interests.

What Will You Do?

As our go-to person for digital support, licensing, and EDI onboarding, you'll collaborate closely with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure our digital platforms run smoothly and effectively. You will:

  • provide first-line support for digital platforms including CRM and CAD-based design apps, and other digital tools
  • manage software licensing, including setup and renewals, and troubleshooting
  • coordinate EDI onboarding and provide ongoing support for internal and external partners and customers
  • refine and maintain accurate data across digital commerce systems
  • deliver training sessions and maintain user documentation
  • communicate proactively with stakeholders to track, manage and, resolve digital support issues

More About You

You're a natural problem solver - proactive and highly organised, you take ownership of issues, communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders, and focused on delivering value. You're equally comfortable diving into data, guiding users through new systems, and balancing day-to-day support with ongoing digital initiatives. In addition, you will bring:

  • effective communication skills, with the ability to tailor your message to different audiences
  • experience providing Level 1 and Level 2 digital or application support
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues independently
  • proficiency in Excel and a solid understanding of data analysis
  • familiarity with CRM systems and licensing management
  • experience supporting or onboarding users to digital platforms or systems
  • a willingness to learn new tools and technologies

Why BlueScope

As we're creating strength for the future through our people, products and solutions, BlueScope gives you opportunities to innovate, learn and grow with the business, supported by inclusive leadership and a positive, passionate team. At BlueScope, you'll:

  • Learn and develop as you grow. With opportunities to build skills specific to your role and aspirations, our lifelong learning culture will support your future career pathways.
