**About the Role**:
Join our team as the **Administration Team Lead** on a part time basis (4 Days per week), ongoing to work at Monash Medical Centre Clayton.

This supervisory role in the Maternity Bookings department at Monash Medical Centre is crucial for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:

- **Refining and Redeveloping Administrative Processes**:

- Review and streamline current administrative procedures to improve overall efficiency.
- Implement new processes and technologies to better manage maternity referrals across Monash Health sites.
- **Monitoring Performance and Compliance**:

- Ensure adherence to Monash Health Guidelines and Department of Health requirements.
- Regularly review performance metrics and compliance reports to identify and address any issues.
- **Ensuring Consistent and Safe Outcomes**:

- Oversee service delivery to maintain high standards of safety and consistency.
- Address any discrepancies or concerns promptly to ensure quality patient care.
- **Supporting Clerical Staff**:

- Provide guidance and support to clerical staff to help them meet their performance goals.
- Facilitate process improvements to enhance team productivity and morale.
- **Training and Educational Initiatives**:

- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure staff are well-informed about procedures and compliance requirements.
- Foster a skilled workforce through ongoing educational opportunities and professional development.

Your role is pivotal in leading change, optimizing operations, and ensuring a positive patient experience while maintaining high standards of compliance and safety.

Monash Maternity Service is the largest Maternity provider in Victoria, providing care to over 10,000 women each year across our three main sites: Monash Medical Centre Clayton, Dandenong and Casey. The Bookings team at the Maternity Clinic in Clayton operates from a shared office space, fostering teamwork and collaboration among staff. **About You**:
You demonstrate critical self-evaluation and reflection, maintaining a professional and respectful demeanour, and exhibit consistent and reliable performance.

Building and maintaining relationships across various levels of the organisation will be 2nd nature to you and is crucial to this role.

To ensure your success in this role you will also bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

- Experience in an antenatal setting or a similar field, as well as in a lead administrative role, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with the outpatient features of iPM and advanced skills with computer software—especially Excel, Word, and Outlook—are essential.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required, including the ability to report and present complex information effectively.
- You should also be able to demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Leadership experience in managing day-to-day service provision and understanding government regulations and billing requirements are also important.
