**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a **Roster Officer** to be part of our HR & Rosters Team, People & Capability Command. The Roster Officer provides efficient and effective coordination and management of the rostering portfolio, utilising all human resources available to achieve corporate, community and command requirements.

We have an opportunity for a Roster Officer to be part of the Human Resources team within the People & Capability Command in the NSW Police Force. This position is located at Sydney Olympic Park and conveniently located near the railway, cafés and restaurants. The role works within a team to provide expert rostering services to the various business units within the Command. This includes the preparation and maintenance of rosters in accordance with industrial award entitlements. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate an eye for detail and the ability to problem solve. Experience in an electronic rosters system (such as Kronos) and expertise in Microsoft Excel would be an advantage. Although the role is located at Sydney Olympic Park, the People & Capability Command has a number of locations across metropolitan Sydney and regional NSW and therefore some occasional travel may be required as part of this role.
